This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and fosters team development through training and mentorship. The position requires a proactive, hands-on leader with strong collaboration skills and a visible presence across departments.\nTasks and Responsibilities\nManage personnel and operations on the manufacturing floor.\nContribute to production plan adherence to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.\nReview production schedules and estimate labor hours required for job and project completion.\nDevelop and adjust work schedules to meet changing production demands.\nManage job descriptions and training plans for all direct reports.\nConduct Performance Development Plans (PDPs) and performance reviews for team members.\nSupport shift coordinators and direct reports in analyzing and resolving operational challenges.\nGather and analyze data; recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.\nApply Lean principles to drive process improvements.\nCollaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and materials teams to ensure inventory accuracy.\nCoordinate with cross-functional departments to support production requirements for various projects.\nPartner with Engineering and Support teams to troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.\nWork closely with Finance to identify and implement adjustments related to work orders, inventory, and improvement opportunities.\nInterpret and enforce company policies and ensure adherence to safety regulations.\nRequest necessary system access and assign specific roles in Coloplast systems for team members.\nComplete any additional tasks assigned by the direct leader.\nPerform all duties in full compliance with company guidelines.\nNotify management of any difficulties in understanding or applying guidelines.\nReport inefficiencies or system issues to leadership.\nTake ownership of safety responsibilities relevant to the position.\nEssential Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.\nEnglish level B1/B2 (based on the Common European Framework of Reference).\nThree or more years of hands-on leadership experience in manufacturing operations.\nExperience working with inventory management systems.\nExperience improving manufacturing operations using Lean and Six Sigma techniques.\nExperience with MES or other system to track and analyze production operations.\nPreferred qualifications\nWork experience in the Medical Device Industry or a similar regulated environment.\nExperience working with inventory management systems.\nCertification on Lean or Six Sigma is desirable.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously. \nPursuing an ambitious growth agenda, Coloplast develops and markets products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs.
