This role involves a blend of advanced technical skills, creativity, and a keen understanding of the latest web development trends and technologies.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and Enhance Our Web Applications:\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.\n\nImplement dynamic user interfaces, ensuring an optimal user experience across various devices and browsers.\n\nImplement entire features including frontend, backend and databases.\n\nCollaboration and Leadership:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality products.\n\nProvide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices in front-end development.\n\nPerformance Optimization:\nEnhance and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\n\nQuality Assurance:\nEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.\n\nUphold high standards of quality by writing clean, understandable, and testable code.\n\nEnhance and maintain the testing infrastructure to avoid regressions.\n\nInnovation and Research:\nStay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in front-end development.\n\nExperiment with new technologies and techniques to improve the development process and user experience.\n\nCode Review and Integration:\nConduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster a culture of collective code ownership.\n\nIntegrate front-end components with server-side logic and functionalities.\n\nPropose and drive improvements to the overall architecture of our software stack.\n\nOwnership:\nLead projects, and provide mentorship to others on how to manage complex initiatives.\n\nBe proactive about change, and biased towards action.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nProficiency with our frontend stack - Next.js, React and Typescript ideally.\n\nBe able to write simple REST endpoints and database queries to support your feature.\n\nBe critical and honest about the engineering practices we employ\n\nReason for change and pushback against \"normalcy\" if it is for the better of the team\n\nBring a new angle of view to the team for the problems we are facing\n\nAt Colossyan, we believe that diversity drives innovation and inclusion fosters a sense of belonging.
