Be able to execute and follow the HOLD SOP.\nControls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.\nEmployee follows all Food Fraud/food Defense Policies while on company property.\nThorough understanding of all Company policies, including GMP’s and safety policies, HACCP & SQF.\nSafety and Cleanliness\nAdhere to safety policies. \nMaintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.\nWear company issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as uniforms, gloves, hairnets.\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\n“A Comar employee who will represent the customer and be the consumer’s advocate”\nAre You?\nA High School or Vo-Tech School graduate with 5+ years related experience or training.\nCompleted certification in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or other equipment related discipline. \nReliable self-starter with good attendance record.\nProficient in basic computer use with the ability to learn and use new systems quickly & efficiently. \nProficient in maintenance management system.\nSafely operate and use standard shop equipment.\nExperience leading continuous improvement, six sigma or lean manufacturing projects.\nWorking knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics and computer programming.\nWorking knowledge of equipment and machinery calibration.\nCertification: Forklift Certified.\nPreferred:\nKnowledge and or previous experience in blow molding, injection molding or extrusion molding. \nExperience with processing or troubleshooting of plastics manufacturing equipment. \nExperience with hands on work with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics and computer programming. \nDo You?\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\nProficient in math skills (imperial & metric), as well as measurement and use of measurement tools.\nAbility to read and follow verbal and written instructions.\nAbility to communicate clearly and work well with all levels in the organization. \nAbility to adapt to changing situations, manage priorities and crises situations in a professional manner.\nRead blueprints, electrical, hydraulic and ladder logic and operational procedures.\nAbility to successfully lead and drive continuous improvement, six sigma or lean manufacturing projects.\nStrong problem-solving ability - can troubleshoot down to component level on a wide range of equipment and machinery. \nAbility to calibrate a wide range of equipment and machinery.\nTime-management - highly organized with ability to adapt to changing situations, manage priorities and crisis situations.\nWork independently and in a team environment as well as take direction from others.\nExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills- ability to work well with all levels in the organization. \nEffectively communicate with supervisor.\nThe ability to read, write, and comprehend information provided.\nAbility to develop and train Maintenance Technician I, II and Automation Technician.\nDo you Enjoy Physical Work where you will?\nStand for most of the work shift.\nUse hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, crouch, bend, twist, and only occasionally sit. \nLift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
