We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for leading daily production activities, supporting employee performance, maintaining a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement throughout the operation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure employees follow all safety procedures, company policies, and equipment operating requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture and address or report unsafe conditions.
• Oversee production activities to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to support production goals.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Support cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production and operational issues to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Proactively recognize operational roadblocks and take appropriate corrective action to minimize disruptions and maintain production goals.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and monitoring individual and team performance.
• Train, coach, and develop employees to support operational and professional growth.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, employee recognition, corrective action, and resolving workplace concerns.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to support overall plant performance.

What We’re Looking For

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
• 1-2 years of related manufacturing, production, or supervisory experience and/or training.
• Previous experience leading employees in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Computer literate with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with IQMS and UKG is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to identify roadblocks, assess potential impacts, and take appropriate action to keep operations on track.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and other departments.
• Basic mathematical skills, including calculating rates, ratios, percentages, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, diagram-based, and schedule-based instructions.

Work Environment

This position regularly works in a manufacturing environment and may involve:

• Exposure to light industrial fumes or airborne particles in a climate-controlled environment.
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
• Working in areas where noise levels may be loud.
• Regular standing, walking, and movement throughout the production area.
