One of our Core Values is “Work Together, Win\nTogether.” Come work and win with us today!\nWhat you will do:\nOperational Quality Improvement\n Execute pilot program activities directed by the Quality Manager supporting the Operations\nManager.\n Ensure compliance to program checklist activities and lead corrective actions for errors.\n Understand and communicate the performance and quality gains from strict adherence to best\npractices.\n Collaborate cross-functionally to create necessary QMS documents (Work Instructions, Process\nMaps -PMs, Standard Operating Procedures- SOPs, Forms)\n Ensure understanding and training to responsibilities within the plant Quality Department.\nQuality Management System (QMS) Support\n Able to follow applicable requirements of FDA cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14971, FDA\n110/210/211, GFSI, Process Validation et. al.\n Create, review, and approve validation IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ protocols and reports.\n Analyze and summarize data for validations, CAPA, and Comar “TPI3” CI initiatives.\n Internal Auditing of adherence to procedures.\n Manage the Visual Factory Layered Process Audit process and report out on deficiencies and\nactions.\n Monitor impact of plant-floor, process or setting changes on the validated state of the lines.\n Create, modify, and approve (with other SMEs) deviations and change control requests for\ndocuments, equipment, and processes.\n Track open deviations and change controls for proper closure and resolution.\nFood & Drug Administration (FDA), International Standards Organization (ISO), medical device and\npharmaceutical industry best practices.\n Identify needs, aid development and presentation of education & training materials with Comar\nUniversity.\n Perform personnel assessments of competency.\n Monitor and enforce adherence to clean room/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/industrial\nhygiene practices.\n Consistently deliver messaging about following procedures and fixing issues so they can be\nfollowed.\n Complete Safety Training Observation Program (STOP) audits and GEMBA (Lean Manufacturing\nand Kaizen) continuous improvement audits as assigned, ensure Quality Department actions\nfrom audits closed.\n Develop and maintain personal training plan to stay current on cGMP requirements.\nInvestigate Customer complaints, Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Action\n(CAPA), and lead Continuous Improvement\n Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to determine root causes of issues (5 Why,\nFishbone, 8D, Is/Is-Not).\n Lead and/or facilitate Operations and Quality cross-functional investigations. Determine\ncorrections, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.\n Analyze data and trends within the CAPA process to determine systemic risks.\n Lead corrective action effort for systemic risks.\n Document investigations and improvements using analysis of data (ANOVA, Cpk, Trending, etc.)\n Identifying opportunities for Continuous Improvement, defining value and implementation.\nWho we’re looking for:\n Bachelor’s degree completed for technology, engineering, science or significant applicable\nexperience, training, and certifications.\n 1- 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing or Quality Engineering.\n Experience with Technical writing of reports, data analysis, customer response correspondence,\nand procedure manuals.\nPreferred:\n Experience working in medical device or food manufacturing environments and with the\nvalidation of manufacturing and inspection processes.\n Experience with visual inspection standards and processes and experience with performing\ntraining for plant-floor personnel.\n Knowledge of the safety requirements and complexity of working with automated and semi\u0002automated production and inspection systems in a factory environment.\n Knowledge of vision inspection systems, and PLCs (programmable logic controllers for factory\nautomation) preferred.\n Knowledge of lean manufacturing principals in a high volume and high complexity environment.\n Knowledge with injection molding and plastic assembly processes.\nDo you have?\n Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers\nand cross-functional co-workers.\n Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid root cause conclusions\nbased upon data.\n Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram\nform and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\n Ability to read technical drawings, dimensions, tolerancing.\n Ability to learn and quickly become computer user efficient: PC-based and/or equipment-based\nHMI’s GUI’s (human-machine interfaces, graphical user interfaces) for production and inspection\nequipment.\n Ability to interpret input from technical staff and Engineering to apply risk-based thinking on the\nproposed activity or change to a process or equipment.\n Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the company.\n For Medical Device Sites: Knowledge of Regulated Industry (CFR Part 820 Quality System\nRequirements, the ISO family of standards, particularly ISO 13485 and 9001, others as the\ncorporation certifies to them).\n For non-Medical Device Sites: Knowledge of ISO 9001, QS9000 and other Quality Management\nSystems\nThe compensation entry point for this role is $77,000 annually.
