{"id":1631116,"url":"https://alion.io/job/comar-sample-technician-day-shift","title":"Sample Technician - Day Shift","company":{"id":3854558,"name":"Pcinternational","domain":"pcinternational.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/pcinternational","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"UltiPro","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"middle","employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Woodville, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":44000,"max_usd":78000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":4938},"experience_years_min":3,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"CAPA","optional":false},{"name":"Mandiant capa","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-24T16:49:09Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-24","last_verified_at":"2026-11-05T09:37:22Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":41,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":41},"description":"WHAT YOU WILL DO:\n“Quality & Safety are Top Comar Priorities”\nBe able to effectively operate equipment as required.\nSet up molds and establish process parameters in various molding machines using established documentation, tools, quality and production concepts in accordance with established safety procedures. \nResponsible for starting up machines to produce quality product within validated molding processes.\nOperates Injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to manufacture product which conforms to quality specifications, at the rated output.\nPerform and maintain safe and efficient tool and machine set-up, operation, and process capabilities to meet customer on-time delivery and quality expectations.\nPerform startups including completion of all required quality management system documentation. \nFor end- to-end molding through secondary packaging equipment - troubleshoots quality/part issues by confirming plastic conditions and performing root cause analysis to determine true root cause solutions.\nVerify process parameters prior to start up and assure process is running to validated parameters.\nIdentify machine problems and communicate to maintenance as required.\nResolve basic mold issues and/or secondary packing equipment issues.\nWork with other molding team members to keep equipment running during breaks and callouts.\nPerform thorough product inspections and make appropriate decisions relative to product quality requirements.\nWork flexible shifts and overtime as needed and maintain reliable attendance.\nLead project work for process improvements, Design of Experiments (DOE), and/or CAPA problem resolution for process development.\nDevelop molds capable of running repeatable and robust molding processes by collaboratively working with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. \nEmploy and document process development procedures based on scientific molding principles, applicable Design of Experiments (DOE’s) and RJG technology. Ensure that the development history of molds is documented and forward to Document Control.\nWork with project engineers and tool room to inspect and benchmark molds in the tool room prior to beginning process development.\nHelp refine and continuously improve process development capability and mold validation process.\nDevelop ideal nominal processes while achieving or exceeding quoted cycle times. \nTrouble shoot production molds and assist Production as needed.\nEstablish Master Cycle Cards for legacy molds.\nProvide input on tool design at tool design meetings.\nMaintain required process documentation. \nMaintain a clean and safe work environment.\nAdhere to and communicate to others all plant Health, Safety and Quality guidelines and GMP.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nHigh School diploma.\nRJG certified\n3+ years experience as a manufacturing process technician and/or related training and experience in mold development.\nWorking knowledge and understanding of the molding process, injection mold tooling, and RJG cavity pressure monitoring systems.\nThorough understanding of scientific molding principles, and IQ-OQ-PQ validation process.\nPreferred:\nKnowledge of IQMS Manufacturing software.\nPrior work experience in an ISO 90001/13485 environment.\nExperience in both Injection and extrusion molding equipment and production processes.\nSKILLS-ABILITIES\nSelf-motivated, conscientious, with a results-oriented mindset.\nGood time management, organizational and communication skills to work independently and also in a team environment.\nAbility to read and follow verbal and written instructions;
