You’ll work alongside the team’s billing auditors, reviewing health records and billing for the organization’s programs to make sure services are properly documented and billed according to state and federal regulations.\nWhat you’ll do\nConduct recurring audits of health records and billing, checking whether the documentation supports what was billed and follows the applicable regulations.\n\nDocument audit findings clearly and prepare audit deliverables, such as claims review summaries, corrective action plan reports and claim reversal spreadsheets.\n\nResearch and interpret healthcare regulations and keep track of regulatory updates.\n\nSupport fraud, waste and abuse investigations, including document review, evidence gathering and staff interviews.\n\nHelp prepare compliance trainings and materials.\n\nManage several audits at the same time, keeping work organized and on schedule.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nBachelor’s degree.\n\nAround 1 to 5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, quality assurance, investigations or any role reviewing documents against rules or regulations.\n\nProfessional English, with the ability to write clear reports and communicate with U.S. teams.\n\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to support findings with evidence.\n\nOrganized, comfortable handling sensitive conversations, and quick to learn new rules and systems.\n\nNice to have\nExperience in healthcare, especially billing, claims, medical records or utilization review.\n\nAuditing experience, such as Big Four, internal audit or internal controls.\n\nExperience supporting investigations.\n\nFamiliarity with U.S. healthcare regulations (Medicaid, CMS, HIPAA) or with an EHR system.\n\nA degree in health, public health or public administration.\n\nDetails\n100% remote, full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.\n\nLong-term role through an Employer of Record, with local benefits, holidays and PTO.\n\nThe organization’s EHR system will be taught on the job, so no prior experience with it is
