Engineers must work in an agile, DevOps-driven environment, ensuring high software quality, reliability, and security.\nCollaborate with Business Analysts (BA) and Product Managers to refine user stories and translate them into technical requirements.\nWork with Quality Assurance (QA) engineers to ensure automated test coverage and proactively fix bugs and defects.\nPartner with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and monitoring pipelines.\nDevelop and maintain scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services in a cloud-native environment.\nImplement modern software development practices, including TDD, pair programming, and CI/CD.\nConduct code reviews, enforce security best practices, and ensure software craftsmanship standards.\nDesign and document system architecture, ensuring compliance with government security and regulatory standards.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.\nEnd to end experience working with product team to build products.\nAbility to work effectively and independently under pressure and prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines.\nComputer science, product management related degrees or diplomas are a plus.\nOptimize and improve backend systems for scalability, observability, and reliability.\nWhere applicable, contribute to blockchain and smart contract development.\nExperience and Skills Needed\nTechnical Skills:\nDegree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.\nExperience with Git and modern branching workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).\nProficiency in modern backend programming languages such as: Shell Scripting, Java, Python, Golang, Node.js.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\nFamiliarity with microservices architecture and event-driven patterns is a plus (Kafka, RabbitMQ).\nHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (ex. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI,).\nKnowledge of database technologies (ex.
