The candidate will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring operational stability, supporting incident resolution, and driving continuous improvement of cloud services.\nIn addition to technical responsibilities, providing some technical guidance, and helping to develop operational best practices within the team.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and support cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS and Azure.\nMonitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, security, and reliability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure incidents and service disruptions.\nPerform patching, maintenance, backup, recovery, and operational support activities.\nImplement and maintain cloud security controls and governance requirements.\nManage cloud resources, costs, and capacity planning.\nSupport automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting tools.\nWork closely with project teams, vendors, and customers on cloud-related activities.\nDevelop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation.\nCoach and mentor junior cloud engineers on cloud technologies, operational processes, and troubleshooting techniques.\nParticipate in on-call support and major incident management when required.\nRequirements\nMinimum 3 years of IT infrastructure or cloud operations experience.\nAt least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.\nStrong knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and monitoring services.\nExperience with cloud operational support, incident management, and problem management.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.\nExperience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.\nGood understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to mentor and guide junior engineers.\nPreferred\nAWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, Administrator).\nMicrosoft Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).\nExperience with container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.\nExperience in enterprise-grade Cloud environment e.g. GCC.\nKnowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.\nExperience working in a managed services or enterprise operations environment.\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nHands-on technical leader who enjoys solving operational challenges.\nStrong AWS operational experience.\nAble to lead troubleshooting during incidents and
