FreeWheel’s platform makes TV and video advertising work.\nJob Description\nWe're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and observability for the Freewheel BuyerCloud and Revenue Science teams.\nFreewheel BuyerCloud (formerly Beeswax) is a massive-scale, highly available, user-friendly programmatic demand-side bidding platform. Revenue Science builds the company's machine learning and AI solutions. Together, these teams run thousands of applications, servers, and containers across multiple regions worldwide - built on AWS and Kubernetes and managed entirely through Infrastructure-as-Code.\nCore Responsibilities\nDesign and build infrastructure and tooling to provide high scalability, reliability, and sub-second performance levels using industry best practices. \nWriting code and scripts to support Infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and automated incident resolution. \nSupport and extend the observability stack to capture and alert on any system issues. \nParticipate in on-call rotations and be an escalation contact for service incidents. \nWriting systems documentation, troubleshooting playbooks, and other instruction manuals. \nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned. \nMinimum Qualifications and Skills\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. \nExperience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems \nProfessional experience administrating Linux, cloud, and containers. \nProfessional experience coding in higher-level languages, such as Python, Java, or C++ \nStrong problem-solving skills \nStrong verbal / written communication skills \nPreferred Qualifications\nCertified AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate \nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) \nSkills\nCloud Infrastructure, Computer Science, DevOpsCompensation\nVirginia Pay Range: $92,524.07 - $138,786.11This job can be performed in Illinois with a Pay Range of $84,478.50 - $138,786.11Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
