In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust backend services, integrating third-party APIs, managing AWS infrastructure, and participating in direct client communications. The ideal candidate can showcase 1–2 production projects, clearly articulate their personal contributions and solutions to technical challenges, confidently debug production incidents, and comfortably leverage modern AI tools like Claude Code in their daily workflow.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nBackend Development: Develop, maintain, and scale high-performance backend services, build REST APIs, and integrate third-party services and AWS components.\n\nOptimization & Security: Ensure optimal application performance, code quality, system stability, and data security.\n\nProduction Support: Debug and resolve production issues, analyze logs, and perform root-cause analysis during incidents.\n\nClient Interaction: Participate in client calls for requirements clarification, technical demos, task estimation, and explaining technical decisions.\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience: 3+ years of commercial Python backend development experience.\n\nProduction Track Record: 1–2 projects brought to production and supported post-release, with the ability to explain your specific role, obstacles faced, and technical solutions implemented.\n\nCore Python: Deep knowledge of Python 3 and async/await programming paradigms.\n\nFrameworks: Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI (or solid commercial background in Django/Flask with a strong readiness to transition to FastAPI).\n\nAPI Design: Clean REST API design, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.\n\nDatabases: Solid experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL (schema design, indexing, migrations, and basic query optimization), along with exposure to NoSQL databases.\n\nCloud & DevOps Basics: Practical experience with AWS core services (S3, EC2, or Lambda), Docker, and Git.\n\nTesting: Writing unit and integration tests using pytest.\n\nQueues & Caching: Hands-on experience with Redis and queue systems (Celery, SQS).\n\nIncident Resolution: Hands-on experience debugging in production environments using logs, monitoring tools, and root cause analysis.\n\nAI Tools: Hands-on experience using Claude Code to accelerate development.\n\nCommunication: Upper-Intermediate English level (B2+) or higher for seamless direct written and verbal communication with international clients.\n\nNice to Have\n\nHands-on experience with DynamoDB.\n\nExperience with EventBridge and serverless architecture.\n\nExperience with LLM integrations (OpenAI API, LangChain / LangGraph).\n\nCommercial experience with Django.\n\nExperience setting up CI/CD pipelines.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nWorking hours aligned with US time zones, typically 16:00–23:59 Kyiv time.\n\nCompany-sponsored English lessons to support clear and confident communication.\n\nPaid vacation and sick days.\n\nFully remote work.\n\nOpportunities for professional growth within the team.\n\nStructured, personalized onboarding to help you ramp up effectively.\nHiring stages: Recruiter screening → Technical Interview.\n\nApply with your resume and a short note outlining your relevant experience.
