The team builds and maintains production software, including AI-enabled systems, and works in long-term client engagements. Team members operate as part of an internal, distributed team and collaborate directly with client stakeholders.\n\nWhat you will do\n\nDevelop and maintain backend services on Node.js (NestJS, TypeScript)\n\nDesign and build REST APIs working with PostgreSQL and Prisma\n\nImplement business logic and integrations with third-party services\n\nBuild authentication and authorization flows\n\nImprove performance and stability of production systems\n\nInvestigate and fix production issues\n\nTake part in code reviews and technical discussions\n\nCommunicate directly with US-based clients on technical calls\n\nWhat we are looking for\n\n2+ years of commercial backend experience with Node.js \n\nIn-depth NestJS experience on real commercial projects: modules, guards, interceptors, pipes\n\nStrong TypeScript skills\n\nSolid approach to validation and DTOs\n\nHands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma\n\nPractical experience with AWS services\n\nDocker in day-to-day development\n\nRedis (caching, queues, sessions, or similar use cases)\n\nExperience with Node.js Streams\n\nGood understanding of OOP principles\n\nConfident use of Git\n\nExperience using Claude Code or readiness to use it as part of your daily workflow\n\nAbility to work independently and argue for your technical decisions\n\nEnglish B2+ for confident spoken communication with US clients\n\nFull-time availability 16:00–00:00 Kyiv time\n\nImportant: NestJS experience limited to tutorials, courses, or pet projects is not sufficient for this role. We are looking for commercial backend experience; frontend-only profiles will not be considered.
