Team members operate as part of an internal, distributed team and collaborate directly with client stakeholders.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a React Native Developer with 1.5-2+ years of commercial experience to join our mobile development team. You will build, maintain, and improve cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo. You will work closely with the Head of React Native and communicate directly with US-based clients.\n\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing mobile applications, can independently handle tasks within their level of expertise, and knows how to troubleshoot mobile-specific issues and optimize application performance.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nBuild and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.\n\nImplement new features, integrate REST APIs and third-party services, and maintain existing code.\n\nDevelop responsive interfaces and ensure a consistent user experience across iOS and Android.\n\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks, improve application stability, and maintain code quality.\n\nInvestigate platform-specific issues, handle permissions, and troubleshoot native-related problems and build failures.\n\nWork with Expo EAS Build and support application builds and releases.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, discuss technical decisions, and collaborate with the Head of React Native.\n\nCommunicate directly with US-based clients to clarify requirements, discuss implementation details, and provide updates on development tasks.\n\nRequirements\n\n1.5–2+ years of commercial experience in React Native development, preferably with Expo.\n\nStrong knowledge of React Hooks, component lifecycle, and TypeScript.\n\nHands-on experience with React Navigation and/or Expo Router.\n\nUnderstanding of iOS and Android differences, Platform.OS, and permission handling.\n\nExperience integrating REST APIs and working with asynchronous data.\n\nUnderstanding of state management approaches and experience with AsyncStorage.\n\nExperience with Expo EAS Build and familiarity with App Store Connect and Google Play Console.\n\nBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and mobile app versioning, including buildNumber and versionCode.\n\nBasic understanding of Bridge, JSI, and Fabric and their purpose.\n\nUpper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher for direct written and verbal communication with US-based clients.\n\nAbility to work independently on assigned tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and explain technical decisions.\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience with react-native-reanimated and react-native-gesture-handler.\n\nKnowledge of UI optimization and performance profiling.\n\nHands-on experience implementing push notifications using expo-notifications.\n\nExperience integrating authentication providers such as Google, Apple, and Facebook.\n\nExperience with Firebase Analytics or similar analytics tools.\n\nExperience working with GraphQL APIs.\n\nAt least one mobile application released to production through the App Store or Google Play.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nFully remote, full-time cooperation\n\nStable working hours aligned with the US market: 16:00–00:00 Kyiv time\n\nPaid vacation and sick days\n\nEnglish lessons and speaking clubs\n\nNo time-tracking software\n\nOpportunities for professional growth and increased ownership within the team\n\nCompensation reviews based on performance\n\nHiring Stages: Recruiter Screening → Technical Interview з Head of Development + Live Coding (60хв)\n\nApply with your resume and a short note outlining your relevant React Native experience.
