We are seeking a technically strong Data Platform Administrator with deep operational expertise, someone confident in managing MySQL and MongoDB across all environments. You will be responsible for platform uptime, schema changes, performance optimization and managing large-scale data operations and migrations. This role combines hands-on operational work with growth into broader data engineering responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to influence platform reliability, support analytics and drive key projects across the organization.\nResponsibilities:\nOwn MySQL, MongoDB and related systems across development and production environments. \nEnsure database uptime, reliability, performance tuning, monitoring, scaling, backups and security. \n Manage schema changes, large-table operations, and data migrations with confidence and precision. \n Lead database upgrades and work with teams to refactor legacy structures into modern, scalable designs. \n Automate operational tasks to increase efficiency and reliability. \n Support real-time pipelines and data flows across teams. \n Support audits, change management and regulatory compliance. \n Manage access controls and release processes. \n Partner with developers, product owners, BI teams and QA to ensure high-quality, reliable data. \n Collaborate with the team and grow into broader engineering responsibilities over time. \nAbout you:\n5+ years of experience in MySQL and MongoDB administration. \nExperience with schema changes, large-table operations, performance tuning and migrations. \nStrong operational mindset: high-availability setups, backups and platform reliability. \nComfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. \nExposure to cloud platforms (BigQuery, AWS, GCP). \nScripting/automation experience (Python, Bash, SQL). Proactive, confident and ready to take ownership. \nCollaborates effectively with developers, product owners, BI teams, QA and DevOps. \nEager to modernize legacy database structures and expand into broader data engineering responsibilities, including understanding modern dataflow tooling and pipelines. \nProficient in English, both spoken and written. \nBenefits\nSo what can you expect from ComeOn as a place of work?
