That audience can smell marketing from across the room, and the moment they do, they stop reading. So writing here is a harder job than most. It has to be plain enough that an engineer trusts it and sharp enough that anyone remembers it.\nYou will not be filling a content calendar. You will be rewriting things that already exist and are not working, and writing new things nobody has written yet. Most of what you produce will be short, and most of it will be read by someone technical.\nThe bar is simple. If a line could appear on any company's website, it is not\nfinished.\nResponsibilities\nRewrite existing website, landing page and product copy\nWrite headlines, subheads, button text, email subject lines and in-product microcopy\nOwn pre-top-of-funnel writing: the material that creates awareness before anyone is actively looking for us\nOwn written social. Run the calendar, write the posts, threads and captions, and edit social copy written by others\nAdapt one source piece into page, email, social and sales formats.\nEdit and proofread copy from other writers and from the wider team\nMaintain the style guide and the terminology list\nCheck claims against the product and the documentation before publishing them.\nLog what changed on each page and report what happened after\nRequirements\nWho We're Looking For:\nWe care far more about what you have written than where you studied.\nYou read a lot, and it shows in how you write.\nYou can explain something complicated to someone who does not care yet\nYou take edits without flinching, and you argue back when you are right.\nYou write fast, then cut hard. The cutting is the job.\nYou are curious about technology even if you do not build it.\nNice to Have:\nA blog, newsletter, zine or anything you have written consistently without being asked to.\nYou have written for a technical or developer audience before.\nYou use AI as a drafting and research partner rather than a ghostwriter, and you can tell the difference instantly in other people's work.\nWhy this is a good seat:\nMost copy internships are caption factories. This one puts you next to the product and the people deciding what it says.
