This role is ideal for a highly analytical, hands-on finance professional with strong FP&A; capabilities and strong accounting fundamentals.\nReporting to the Director of FP&A;, this individual will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of key FP&A; activities, including financial reporting, forecast preparation, expense tracking, and variance analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with Accounting and cross-functional partners to ensure financial information is accurate and complete, investigate performance drivers, and surface meaningful insights for review.\nResponsibilities:\n\nPrepare monthly forecasts, annual budget schedules, and supporting financial analyses.\nPrepare monthly financial reporting and analyze results against forecast, budget, and prior year.\nPerform detailed variance analysis, investigate underlying drivers, and provide clear explanations of significant variances, trends, risks, and opportunities for review.\nMaintain financial models, reporting schedules, and supporting analyses.\nReview general ledger activity, understand the accounting behind financial results, and partner with Accounting to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.\nMaintain department-level expense tracking and forecasts, including gathering inputs from cross-functional partners.\nPrepare P&L;, KPI, and management reporting with clear commentary on key business drivers.\nPerform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support business needs.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of FP&A; reporting and processes.\nQualifications:\n4+ years of experience in FP&A;, corporate finance, accounting, or a combination of finance and accounting roles.\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.\nStrong accounting fundamentals, including a thorough understanding of financial statements, general ledger activity, accruals, account classifications, and the monthly close process.\nExperience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.\nAdvanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including the ability to work efficiently with large and detailed datasets.\nExperience with ERP/accounting systems and business intelligence tools; QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly summarize financial findings and key takeaways.\nExperience in ecommerce, retail, consumer products, or a high-growth DTC environment required.\nDetail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to independently complete analyses, identify when something doesn't look right, and dig into the details to understand why.\nAnalytical and curious, with a desire to understand the story behind the numbers.\nComfortable working with detailed financial data and following an issue through to resolution.\nOrganized and dependable, with the ability to manage recurring deliverables and multiple priorities.\nCollaborative and comfortable working across Finance, Accounting, and other business functions.\nAdaptable and resourceful, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where processes continue to evolve.\n Why Join Comfrt?\nBe part of a purpose-driven company that’s shaping the future of comfort and mental wellness.\nWork in a supportive, creative environment where your ideas and growth are valued.\nEnjoy Comfrt benefits such as generous paid time off, company-covered health insurance, 5% 401k match, and discounts on all Comfrt products! \nJoin a passionate team making an impact on exciting projects, all while enjoying the flexibility and collaborative support of a fully remote environment.\nComfort is an equal opportunity employer.
