Commerce Trust is a division of Commerce Bank.\nAbout This Job\nThe main purpose of this job is to ensure a timely, complete, and accurate processing of bill payment transactions.\nEssential Functions\nEnsure a timely, complete and accurate processing of bill payment transactions\n\nFacilitate all distributions related to the bill payment product offering; responsible for processing and/or quality review of one time and recurring distributions/receipts and cost basis, ensure all compliance requirements have been met and all processing and coding is complete, timely, and accurate\n\nBuild and maintain relationships, ensure appropriate controls are in place for all processes related to the bill payment product offering; responsible for identifying accounts with past due bill payments, collaborating with the internal departments to identify clients with additional bill payments that can be serviced\n\nDrive process improvements, maintain documentation, and assist with projects and testing\n\nWork closely with other support teams within the Trust Company to resolve client transactions and with other team members to assist/backup during high volumes or absence\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required\nBasic knowledge of wealth management bill payment practices\n\nStrong business acumen and the ability to make timely and sound business recommendations\n\nExcellent customer service skills\n\nAbility to prioritize work to meet deadline and service level agreements\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy\n\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills\n\nAbility to resolve problems and identify and drive process improvements\n\nMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities\n\nAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values\n\nIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook\n\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required\n\n2+ years finance or investment management experience required\n\n***For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles.
