Description of the cluster:

The Global Financial Crime Prevention Platform cluster:

• develops a global and holistic IT platform for fraud prevention and detection,
• aimed at delivering top-notch compliance solutions to safeguard against financial crime.

As part of the Key Area Compliance we are responsible for providing an IT platform to support risk coverage and processes with regard to know-your-customer (KYC), anti-money laundering and sanctions. We understand ourselves to be a unit closely dovetailed with the standard setters from the headquarters Compliance functions with the aim of further developing and operating the Compliance IT platform. Thus, we deliver state-of-the-art solutions in close cooperation with the standard setters.

You will be responsible for:

We are looking for Business Experts with strong experience in supporting compliance business processes to oversee and contribute to the development, optimization, and strategic evolution of processes, systems, and solutions within the fraud prevention ecosystem.

The focus of your work will be to steer the development, enhancement, implementation, and maintenance of compliance solutions that drive the Fraud platform forward. This platform is an in-house development on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and is at the beginning of its lifecycle-the perfect opportunity to shape innovative solutions from the ground up.

We are seeking a results-driven Business Expert with strong analytical and strategic skills to optimize processes, systems, and compliance solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery and business success in a dynamic and agile environment.

What you will be doing:

1. Building strong connections across users, developers, data scientists and vendors:

You’ll act as the business link and subject matter expert by identifying business needs or application-related issues, and collaborating with developers, data scientists and vendors to implement efficient and effective resolutions.

2. Defining and analyzing business requirements:

You'll translate business needs into functional designs, define solutions, and provide configurations within applications or functional IT concepts for development teams to execute.

3. Enhancing systems and processes:

You’ll support the introduction of new systems, features, or upgrades, while working on streamlining workflows and optimizing business processes ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and customer needs.

4. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams:

You’ll work closely with software engineers, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to tackle challenges and design innovative solutions tailored to business requirements.

5. Maintaining compliance and system reliability:

You'll oversee operational tasks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to risk mitigation and business integrity

6. Monitoring market trends and strategies:

Analyze current market trends, regulatory changes, and customer expectations to influence strategic planning, guide project roadmaps and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Very good knowledge of Business Process Management
• Good Fraud Detection expertise
• Good knowledge of compliance processes
• Basic knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Willingness to learn Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data analysis
• English B2+

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentials
• Basic knowledge of Gen AI and Cloud
• Basic knowledge of Web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.)
