You will collect, organize, analyze, and report critical cardiovascular performance improvement data, ensuring compliance with TJC and other regulatory agencies, while actively identifying opportunities to enhance care for the CV patient population. You will also collaborate with and provide leadership for Emergency, Cath Lab, Telemetry, and Critical Care areas to promote excellence in cardiac patient care.To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with advanced cardiovascular knowledge and proven application of that knowledge, exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, a strong commitment to quality improvement, proficiency in managing cardiovascular registries (e.g., Cath PCI, STS, TVT), and the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including C-suite and county leadership, regarding program performance and strategic planning for STEMI Receiving Centers/Chest Pain Centers.\nDemonstrates adherence to the standards of conduct requirements.\nAnalysis of monthly cardiac data and issues in concert with Quality Management and other clinical departments.\nInterface with the Medical, Nursing, and other clinical staff to improve compliance with specific elements for each core measure.\nPresent data findings at CV and ED Committees and other committees as appropriate.\nChampion specific PI activities related to AMI, CHG, Structural Heart and other CV specific diseases.\nDevelopment of Provider specific report cards which includes clinical and financial data indicators.\nJob Requirements\nRequired\nSuccessful completion of a program of training which conforms to standards established by the California BRN\nMinimum of one year in an administrative clinical role developing, implementing, maintaining and improving cardiology management programs, partnering with physicians and administrative staff to enhance and promote program strategies\nRegistered Nurse: Current CA RN License\nPreferred\nMasters Of Science\nIntermediate to advanced computer/data programs experience/ skills\nBasic Life Support - CPR BLS\nAdvanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS\nCritical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute - CCRN\nRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - RCIS\nRegistered Cardiac Electr - RCES\nWhere You’ll Work\nFounded in 1940, Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center is a 191-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Maria, California.
