To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong willingness to learn, adaptability to varying responsibilities, a proactive approach to supporting departmental functions, and a dedication to growing your skills within a dynamic healthcare setting.\nPerforms diagnostic radiology procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals to include radiation safety.\nProduces and develops quality exams in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.\nPrepares patient for exams; gives instructions to patients regarding procedures; assists the patient during the exam and positions the patient.\nExplains the procedure to patients and responds to their physical and emotional needs.\nObserves patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient's conditions.\nCommunicates, in writing and verbally, with all physicians, imaging personnel, students, and hospital staff in facilitating the continuum care.\nJob Requirements\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMust be enrolled in an approved ARRT, ARDMS, or CNMTB training program (At least in the second year of the program within 9 months of graduation)\nBasic Life Support from the American Heart Association\nPreferred\nGraduate of an accredited sonography program\nWhere You’ll Work\nFor more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton.
