Every day you will operate various imaging equipment, precisely position patients, act as a clinical resource to unit personnel, serve as a role model for other associate technologists, and ensure adherence to safe radiation practices and current standards of practice. To be successful in this role, you will possess expertise in at least two medical imaging modalities, strong technical skills, comprehensive understanding of radiation safety, and proven leadership abilities to support, mentor, and guide imaging staff while providing compassionate patient care.\nPerforms imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals.\nProduces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner and assists in additional modalities as needed based on licensure.\nProvides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.\nOffers leadership, support, and coordination to Imaging technical and support staff.\nAssists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.\nResponsible for orienting, training, and mentoring staff and students.\nJob Requirements\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma/G.E.D.\nTwo (2) years of experience performing advanced modality (CT, MRI, etc.) duties/responsibilities.\nRegistered Radiology Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.\nAny of the following: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR), R.T.(R) (VI)(ARRT); R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT)\nCurrent Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.\nPreferred\nAssociate Degree, is strongly preferred.\nBachelor Degree\nPrevious leadership experience.\nWhere You’ll Work\nFounded in 1976, Holy Cross Hospital - Davis has grown into a 220-bed hospital of choice for the flourishing communities of northern Utah.
