Roles are typically based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth, depending on the team, and sit within our Data Science & AI practice across the Group. Opportunities commonly include Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, Chapter Lead/Senior Manager, and Principal Data Scientist roles.

At CommBank, you’ll work at the forefront of applied AI through strategic partnerships with OpenAI and Anthropic, alongside deep collaboration with the global technology ecosystem. Our Seattle Tech Hub embeds our teams with world-class technology partners to accelerate capability and deliver real-world generative and agentic AI solutions at scale. This includes strong practical experience implementing Generative AI and agentic and multi-agent systems, using modern frameworks and tooling such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph and the OpenAI Responses API, as well as applying a combination of commercial and technical AI models to deliver solutions that create strategic value.
