We provide trusted, high-quality payments data through scalable engineering solutions, enabling better customer outcomes, operational excellence and data-driven decision making.\nWhat you'll do\nAs a Staff Software Engineer, you will:\nProvide technical leadership across squads, setting engineering direction and raising technical standards.\n\nDesign, build and evolve secure, scalable and resilient software platforms.\n\nLead architecture and design decisions for complex distributed systems.\n\nDrive modernisation initiatives using cloud-native and event-driven architectures.\n\nChampion engineering excellence across software quality, testing, observability, security and operational excellence.\n\nFoster a strong DevSecOps culture by owning solutions end-to-end, from design and development through to deployment, production operations and continuous improvement.\n\nMentor engineers and help grow technical capability across teams.\n\nPartner closely with Product, Architecture, Security and Operations to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.\n\nDrive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices, reusable platform capabilities and modern software delivery techniques where appropriate.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nWe're looking for experienced software engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical problems and influencing engineering beyond their immediate team.\nYou don't need experience across every technology we use.
