Our goal is to develop cryogenic helium systems that are critical to keeping the HTS magnets within superconducting temperatures. We work in a fast-paced and strategically collaborative setting that allows us to take designs from concept to hardware within extremely short time spans. We are looking for an energetic co-op student to join our team. Within this co-op, you will be working on engineering design and analysis.\nProgram Details:\n 26 week internship\n40-50 hours per week with set hourly salary based on year in school\nOpportunity in Devens, MA. If an intern is going to be on site, you will be responsible for your own transportation and housing\nSpecific project assignments and required technical skillset will vary based on the team’s existing need.\nOpportunities available for currently enrolled college students in all levels of schooling from bachelor’s degree to PhD\nInterns must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer\nWhat you'll do:\nRead, develop, and revise key process engineering documents including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), test plans, test procedures, and process controls and human machine interfaces (HMIs)\nDevelop thermohydraulics analysis calculations, tools, models, and reports including Excel calculations, 1-D thermohydraulic models (e.g. EcoSim), computational fluid dynamics models (e,g, COMSOL)\nBuild physical and digital tools to manage and report on project milestones and present results and learnings to key stakeholders, including managing small project budgets\nHands-on building and testing.
