passive RF components and optical assemblies, such as: rectangular waveguide, circular waveguide, frequency-dependent couplers, antennas, optical mirrors and polarizers\nElectromagnetic calculations of transmission, reflection, and loss\nWhat we’re looking for:\nPursuing an engineering degree with focus in the field of Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Applied Physics, Optical Engineering or Photonics Engineering\nClasswork (or a demonstrated interest) in electromagnetics, optics, or antennas\nExperience in an RF, microwave, millimeter-wave or optics lab\nSoftware experience with electromagnetic calculations (e.g. Ansys Electronics Desktop, Comsol, finite elements methods), matlab, CAD modeling\nDemonstration of exceptional results through a range of different pursuits\nHigh self-motivation and drive to execute quickly with excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills\nMust-have Requirements:\nWillingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally\nPerform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time\nDedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and
