The position focuses on quality planning, risk assessment, process control, problem-solving, and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.\nHow You'll Help Us Connect the World:\nLead quality assurance activities to ensure products, processes, and systems meet customer and regulatory requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance overall product quality.\nLead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and DMAIC.\nManage customer quality issues, complaints, and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) by establishing quality requirements, inspection plans, and risk assessments.\nDevelop, maintain, and improve quality documentation including Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, and work instructions.\nAnalyze quality metrics, trends, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions Support process capability studies and statistical analysis.\nConduct and support internal, customer, and certification audits.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to improve product and process quality.\nEnsure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements such as ISO 9001, TL9000.\nLead risk assessment activities and implement preventive measures to minimize quality issues.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior quality engineers and quality technicians.\nParticipate in change management activities and review engineering changes for quality impact.\nPrepare and present quality performance reports for management and customers.\nRequired Qualifications for Consideration:\nBachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering.\n5-10 years of experience in manufacturing quality management.\nStrong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, SPC (Statistical Process Control), MSA (Measurement System Analysis), Control Plans, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies.\nQuality tools expertise in 8D Problem Solving ,5 Whys Analysis, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram, Pareto Analysis, DOE (Design of Experiments), CAPA Management, Risk Management methodologies.\nStrong analytical and statistical skills. Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel (advanced),Minitab, Power BI/Tableau,ERP and Quality Management Systems.\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams, Strong customer-facing skills, Excellent presentation and report-writing capability.\nAbility to drive corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.\nProficient in English, with the ability to use English as a working language.\nYou Will Excite Us If You Have:\nExperience in precision electronics production or assembly is preferred.\nExperience with product quality control in cleanroom manufacturing environments is preferred.\nHaving a valid U.S. visa is preferred.\nWhy CommScope:\nCommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn.
