Your work will directly contribute to reliable product performance and customer satisfaction worldwide.\nHow You'll Help Us Connect the World:\nAs a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key areas:\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of internal systems to support the Quality team effectively.\nResolve material quality issues promptly and collaborate with component and design engineers to improve specifications and drawings based on supplier capabilities.\nApply creative and systematic approaches to meet global quality targets.\nConduct supplier quality system and process audits, drive corrective and preventive actions.\nAnalyze supplier DPPM (Defective Parts Per Million), establish performance metrics, and implement risk mitigation strategies.\nCollaborate with suppliers to introduce new technologies and processes aligned with company requirements.\nPartner with global quality teams to address customer complaints related to supplier/material quality.\nProvide on-site support for audits of suppliers serving other business units and follow up on corrective actions.\nLead qualification and evaluation of new suppliers from a quality perspective.\nTrain and coach existing suppliers on quality system improvements and quality tool implementation.\nManage material qualification and validation projects; support engineering changes and ensure proper implementation at supplier sites.\nRequired Qualifications for Consideration:\n\nBachelor’s or above degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or Information and Communication Engineering.\n\n5 years or more of experience in supplier quality management, including process and technology. \n\nExperience in the copper communication industry, familiarity with Lan Cable, Copper Cable, RJ45 Cable assembly, PCB & Electronic parts processes is a plus.\n\nFamiliarity with ISO9001 quality systems and product/process development, knowledge of TL9000 is an advantage.\n\nStrong knowledge and practical application of PFMEA, SPC, DOE, and MSA.\n\nProficient in quality tools such as TQM, 8D, Poke Yoke, Kaizen, and QC 7 tools.\n\nExperience in developing and documenting quality procedures and inspection methods.\n\nUnderstanding of reliability, environmental, and qualification programs.\n\nAbility to monitor vendor quality programs and implement corrective actions.\n\nAssertive communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.\n\nStrong decision-making, logical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.\n\nCapable of articulating, defending, and negotiating quality expectations with suppliers.\n\nSelf-motivated, independent, and able to work under pressure.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Minitab; able to interpret 2D drawings.\n\nStrong analytical skills for resolving quality issues.\n\nWillingness to travel extensively: 80% in China, 20% in APAC region.\n\nFluent in communication in both English and Chinese.\nYou Will Excite Us If You Have:\n\nCertified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.\n\nExperience with SAP is a plus\n\nProficient in written and spoken English; CET-4 required, CET-6 preferred.\nWhat Happens After You Apply:\nLearn how to prepare yourself for the next steps in our hiring process by visiting https://jobs.commscope.com/content/How-We-Hire/?locale=en_US\nWhy CommScope?\nCommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn.
