This role is more electrical/technical in nature due to Equipment Installation problem solving and working with a variety of controls equipment.\nResponsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, address, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of business unit goals and objectives. Responsible for maintaining, solving problems, and repairing PLCs, AC/DC Drives, and motor and drive controls. Also, the individual will participate in general maintenance duties of the equipment and facilities as advised by their supervisor.\n5 Day, 8am-4pm, 8-hour shifts\nHow You'll Help Us Connect the World\nTroubleshoot and repair machine Electro-Mechanical malfunctions utilizing appropriate test equipment to analyze problems and correct deficiencies to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, Laptop computers and PLC interface.\nUtilize mechanical equipment including lathes, mills, cutting and welding tools.\nWork effectively with Automation and Instrumentation devices in support of engineering or technicians.\nTroubleshoot equipment Motor and Drive control issues.\nFollow all proactive safety measures to include but not limited to NEC, NFPA and other pertinent safety codes. Ensure safety procedures, such as Lock-Out/Tag-Out are always followed.\nPossess extensive knowledge of production systems including but not limited to compound system, air compressors, pit water system, HVAC and chillers.\nMust have a strong fundamental understanding of 3 Phase electrical systems, machine/motion control systems, electro-mechanical systems, VFD and Servo systems.\nAssist in developing, coordinating and managing ongoing in-house training programs.\nSupport the Parts department by assisting with identifying and maintaining parts used on the equipment and inventory of repair parts and manufacturing supplies.\nExecute project assignments in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.\nDemonstrate sound troubleshooting skills.\nMaintain PM and records for all plant equipment.\nMust be able to read electrical drawings and schematics.\nOther general facilities and project duties as assigned.\n Workers are responsible for:Understanding and following the requirements of the EHS Policy, Standards, and relevant facility and operations EHS procedures.\nPerforming assigned tasks, utilizing competencies obtained, to identify all OH&S risks and environmental impacts to which they are potentially exposed and mitigate exposure using defined controls.\nReporting to supervisor, EHS or any other appropriate party(ies) identified by site management, EHS concerns immediately upon identification.\nCommunicating opportunities to supervisor, EHS or any other appropriate party identified by site management that contributes to the continuous improvement of the EHSMS.\n\nRequired Qualifications for Consideration:\n2 years of demonstrated manufacturing experience working with PLCs/HMIs/VFDs controlling process and automation equipment. \nMinimum of 2 years of experience working with AC/DC/VFD drives. \nGood mechanical skill set.\nElectrical certification.\nHVAC/Refrigeration certification\nWill consider military experience and training in lieu of industrial experience. \nValid Driver’s license.\nHigh School diploma or GED\nYou will excite us if you have:\nAllen Bradley ControlLogix, Legacy PLC Products, SLC and PLC5; Siemens S7 PLC.\nAllen Bradley AC/DC drive products including Powerflex and Kinetix products.\nState electrical license preferred.\nAssociate Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration or related fields.\nAssociate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems or related fields\nAssociate's Degree in Electronics and or Electrical Engineering Technologies\nThe candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan.
