This position is US Remote.\nHow You'll Help Us Connect the World\nThe Import Trade Compliance professional focuses on supporting CommScope business within the North American region. Provides industry knowledge on the topics and efficient processes of Post Entry Review, Country of Origin Determination Rules, and Customs Valuation Regulations to accurately and timely respond to requests for information internally and externally.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nProvide daily trade compliance support to Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Product Line Management teams to ensure adherence to U.S. import regulations. Actioning mailbox inquiries:\nSec 232, Sec 301, other tariffs questions as applicable\nAD/CVD, Aluminum and steel licenses, Census Warnings and UOM reporting\nOGA and HTS\nServe as backup for team members, ensuring continuity of operations during absences or peak workload periods.\nDevelop, document, and maintain desk-level procedures within the Trade Compliance function.\nStay current on international import regulations through government publications, regulatory updates, and formal training.\nAnalyze import activities to identify risks and implement improved compliance processes and controls.\nEnsure import entry documentation is retained in accordance with 19 CFR record-keeping requirements.\nQualifications:\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills, experience with SAP preferred.\nAssociate degree or minimum one year of experience in international trade compliance, business, or a technical field (Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years of experience preferred).\nFormal Import/Export Compliance training or certifications preferred.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.\nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with high attention to detail.\nDemonstrated self-starter mindset, with strong ownership and
