This onsite role will work closely with infrastructure, application, networking, and security teams to assess existing systems, prepare migration plans, execute workload migrations, and provide post-migration support.\nThe ideal candidate brings hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments, managing VMware infrastructure, and deploying and supporting Amazon EC2 instances. Citrix experience is a plus.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssess and document existing Windows servers, VMware virtual machines, application dependencies, and infrastructure configurations.\nSupport migration planning, including workload readiness assessments, migration sequencing, cutover procedures, validation criteria, and rollback plans.\nPrepare AWS EC2 environments and migrate workloads in coordination with cloud architecture, networking, and security teams.\nAdminister and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including operating systems, services, patching, storage, and connectivity.\nManage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments throughout the migration.\nValidate server functionality, connectivity, performance, monitoring, and backup coverage following migration.\nTroubleshoot migration issues and provide post-cutover stabilization support.\nMaintain system documentation, migration runbooks, configuration records, and knowledge-transfer materials.\nFollow established change management, security, and operational procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nHands-on systems engineering or infrastructure administration experience in enterprise environments.\nStrong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience managing VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi and vCenter.\nPractical experience deploying, configuring, and supporting AWS EC2 instances.\nWorking knowledge of AWS networking and access controls, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and IAM.\nUnderstanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, TCP/IP networking, and server storage.\nExperience supporting server migrations, infrastructure transitions, or datacenter consolidation initiatives.\nAbility to troubleshoot issues across operating systems, virtualization, networking, and cloud infrastructure.\nStrong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to work onsite at the designated location and participate in scheduled migration cutovers or maintenance windows.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including supporting infrastructure and application delivery.\nExperience with AWS Application Migration Service or similar migration tools.\nPowerShell scripting and automation skills.\nFamiliarity with backup, recovery, monitoring, and security tools across on-premises and AWS environments.\nRelevant AWS, Microsoft, VMware, or Citrix certifications.\nSuccess Measures\nAssigned workloads are migrated and validated within approved migration windows.\nPost-migration issues are resolved promptly, with minimal disruption to business operations.\nMigration runbooks and operational documentation are complete and accurate.\nMigrated systems are successfully transitioned to ongoing support
