Creditors Supervisor

Job description:

• Supervise the Accounts Payable and Creditors function
• Review supplier reconciliations and payment schedules
• Manage month-end creditor processes and reporting requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments
• Investigate and resolve supplier queries and discrepancies
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Review creditor ageing reports and outstanding items
• Assist with audit requests and supporting documentation
• Train, mentor and support junior team members
• Drive process improvements within the creditors department

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ of Creditors or Accounts Payable experience
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience advantageous
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Experience working in high-volume transaction environments
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail

Qualification:

• Matric essential
• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping advantageous
