Job Description:

Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms that support reporting, analytics and advanced data initiatives. Partner with business and technology teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable and fit for purpose.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong SQL and Python development skills
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark or similar big data technologies
  • Experience with Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud data services
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling principles
  • Experience integrating data from multiple source systems
  • Exposure to tools such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Snowflake or Fabric
  • Strong understanding of data quality, governance and optimisation
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions

Qualification:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
  • Cloud or Data Engineering certifications advantageous
  • Databricks, Azure Data Engineer or similar certifications highly beneficial
