Delivery Lead

As a Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for helping agile software teams deliver exceptional outcomes while continuously improving the way they work.

You'll act as the catalyst that keeps teams aligned, removes obstacles, drives accountability, and ensures delivery remains predictable without sacrificing innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end delivery planning across multiple agile teams
• Partnering with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Managing dependencies, delivery risks, blockers, and competing priorities
• Facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups, reviews, and roadmap discussions
• Improving team effectiveness through data-driven delivery metrics and analytics
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across delivery practices and workflows
• Ensuring visibility and transparency through delivery reporting, forecasting, and governance
• Supporting release planning and readiness activities
• Coaching teams on agile principles and best practices
• Creating an environment where teams can perform at their highest level
• Leveraging modern tooling, automation, and AI-assisted delivery practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Influencing stakeholders and enabling alignment across business and technology teams

Skills & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you'll likely have:

• Proven experience in a Delivery Lead, Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or similar software delivery role
• Strong experience working within agile software development environments
• A solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and modern product delivery methodologies
• Experience working across multiple teams, projects, or delivery streams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing delivery risks, dependencies, and competing priorities
• A data-driven approach with experience using delivery metrics to improve outcomes
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership capabilities
• Experience with Jira, Plandek, or similar delivery management platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
• The ability to influence without relying on formal authority
• Exposure to automation, AI-enabled workflows, or modern delivery tooling would be highly advantageous

Qualification:

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience working within software engineering and product delivery environments is essential.
• Exposure to product-led organisations, discovery practices, roadmap planning, and software development lifecycles would be advantageous.
