Job Description:

This position involves:

  • Receiving and verifying supplier deliveries against purchase orders
  • Inspecting goods for shortages, damages, quality issues, and discrepancies
  • Capturing Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) accurately on IQ Retail
  • Maintaining accurate receiving records and supporting stock control processes
  • Managing supplier returns, credit notes, and discrepancy reporting
  • Supporting stock counts and annual stock takes
  • Ensuring the receiving area remains organised, secure, and compliant with company procedures
Skills & Experience:
  • 2 years' experience in receiving, warehousing, stock control, or inventory management
  • Experience within building materials, hardware, retail, or wholesale environments (advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of IQ Retail or similar ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to confidently deal with suppliers and drivers
  • Forklift licence (advantageous)
Qualification:
  • Matric
