Job Description

  • Develop relationships with end users, OEMs, system integrators, consultants, and key decision-makers
  • Identify new sales opportunities and develop projects within industrial and manufacturing environments
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable automation and instrumentation solutions
  • Provide technical and commercial support from initial enquiry through to sales and after-sales
  • Manage quotations, sales opportunities, customer visits, and CRM activity
  • Grow existing accounts while developing new customers and business opportunities
  • Support technical presentations, exhibitions, campaigns, and customer events
  • Coordinate with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver customer solutions
  • Keep up to date with automation, digitalisation, and Industry 4.0 technologies
Skills & Experience
  • 4-5 years’ experience in industrial automation, process control, instrumentation, or a related manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of sensors, instrumentation, industrial automation, and networking solutions
  • Technically minded with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical solutions
  • Proven commercial or customer-facing experience with strong sales aptitude
  • Experience engaging with engineering, production, procurement, and senior decision-makers
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Food and beverage industry experience will be advantageous
Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation, or a related field
  • Valid drivers license
