Although we started out of necessity, we have grown into a full-service, one-stop shop, for businesses around the country.\nTHE POSITION\nWe are seeking a hands-on, hard-working, detail-oriented professional to join our team. The Bindery Operator I ensures accuracy and quality of products produced out of the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter areas.\nJOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES\nSet up and calibrate the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter\nNavigate Stitcher software to make any needed adjustments before and during a run\nCycle the Inserter machine to sync the pockets and feeder sensors\nFind and move job files to the correct folder on the Inserter\nSet up and calibrate the stacker to ensure neat, square and uniform bundles\nInspect and replace belts and strapping\nUtilize Videojet software to import files and change job parameters as necessary\nOperate Kyocera, Kodak, and Taba printers\nLoad and change label rolls on the Inserter\nMaintain knowledge of machine coding, error messages, reporting, and machine troubleshooting\nPerform Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance on the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter\nRequirements\nTEAM MEMBER EXPECTATIONS\nWe have high expectations of our team and expect every team member to possess and demonstrate the following characteristics:\nPositive attitude and a strong work ethic\nHold to our core values: Faith, Passion, Quality, Innovation, and Integrity\nThe genuine desire to achieve your very best and improve every day\nThe initiative to identify opportunities for organizational improvement and the drive to take action and ownership in helping the organization succeed both by contributing individually and working together as a team\nIn addition to general team member expectations, this role specifically requires the following:\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum requirements:\n2 or more years of experience with offset printing\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\nAbility to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods\nAvailable during 1st shift hours of 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday\nAbility to work occasional weekends or variable shifts based on business needs\nPreferred qualifications:\nMechanical and machinist skills\nExtensive knowledge of paper characteristics and its effect on production and quality\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\nWe offer a competitive and attractive package of compensation and benefits including health insurance, 401(k) plan, paid vacation, sick pay, and paid holidays.
