Working closely with leaders across Finance, Facilities, Legal and Operational teams, you'll influence organisational decision-making and ensure procurement practices are efficient, transparent and future-focused.\n This is a highly visible role where your expertise will directly contribute to risk mitigation, operational efficiency, supplier performance, and ultimately the quality of services delivered across the charity.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\n Developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks\nLeading continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and strengthen procurement processes\nManaging supplier due diligence, onboarding and compliance activities\nDeveloping and maintaining key supplier and contract databases\nSupporting contract managers with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nProviding commercial advice on supplier contracts in partnership with Legal colleagues\nMonitoring supplier performance to ensure agreed service, quality and invoicing standards are achieved\nConducting procurement audits and compliance reviews\nProducing insightful reports on supplier spend, value for money, risk, and compliance for senior stakeholders\nEnsuring compliance with procurement regulations and legislative requirements, including Modern Slavery, Anti-Bribery, Corruption and Fraud legislation\nLeading and developing a Procurement Specialist, supporting performance, growth and development\nBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and influencing positive procurement practices\nAbout you:\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n You'll be a confident procurement professional with the ability to balance commercial thinking with strong governance and compliance expertise.\nEssential Experience & Knowledge\n Proven experience in a procurement leadership or category management role\nExperience within a large, complex, multi-site organisation\nDemonstrable success implementing and improving procurement processes and controls\nStrong knowledge of UK procurement legislation, governance and best practice\nExperience developing supplier management and procurement frameworks\nStrong commercial awareness with contract negotiation experience\nSkills & Attributes\n Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nAbility to assess supplier performance, market trends and business needs\nExcellent communication and influencing skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure\nPassion for continuous improvement and delivering tangible business benefits\nDesirable\nCIPS qualification or membership\nWhat You'll Get in Return\n At Community Integrated Care, you'll join an organisation that genuinely values innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
