You belong.\nJob Summary\nCommunity Clinic is seeking a front desk Patient Coordinator for our Primary & Urgent Care Clinic in Centerton, AR. The Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients within the Clinic, providing a cordial greeting and ensuring the patient’s needs are met in an effective, positive way. Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Spanish language ability is required. The schedule for this role is full-time with the following schedule possibilities: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic. \nEnsures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.\nEnsures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts and collections are balanced daily. \nSchedules patient appointments, based on patient needs, provider requests and approved scheduling guidelines.\nMaintains a clean and orderly work environment to ensure the professional appearance of the Clinic at all times.\nKeeps management team informed of all activities and on goings in the medical clinic.\nAdheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA. \nSkills\nAbility to perform cash, check and credit card payment transactions with accuracy. \nAbility to work and function independently and within a team.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds. \nKnowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office Software.\nAble to perform proficiently on current practice management system and/or electronic medical records.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required. \nBilingual Spanish/English is required. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in medical billing or medical reception preferred\nWhy Work at Community Clinic?\nBe a part of a mission-driven organization committed to providing access to health-care to everyone in your community!
