The Stores Clerk directly reports to the Stores Supervisor or Stores Manager\n\nEssential Functions:\nReceive incoming parts and materials in a timely manner and in accordance with receiving procedures.\nStock serviceable parts in a timely manner.\nObserve and comply with departmental procedures, Company policies, and Company safety programs.\nProcess un-serviceable, rotatable/repairable components to ensure timely shipping/routing of parts to vendors and in-house shops for repair.\nProcess outgoing parts/components and ensure they are properly prepared and packaged for shipment according to current departmental procedures and Federal regulations.\nMaintain accurate shipping records on outbound shipments to vendors, other airlines, and other Company facilities including COMAT shipments.\nIssue serviceable parts and tools to Maintenance personnel.\nMaintain control of Champlain Enterprises LLC. tool room in accordance with the General Maintenance Manual.\nProcess out-station restocks and ensures shipments occur in a timely manner with proper packaging, shipping containers, and shipping documentation.\nPerform pick-up and delivery of parts, equipment, tools, and supplies to various locations as directed by the Materials Manager or Maintenance Shift Supervisor.\nPerform stock inventory on critical inventory items and other inventory checks as necessary and advising management of shortages.\nPerform all tasks involving housekeeping, Stock Room inspections, and bin location responsibilities on a routine basis.\nAssist in the coordination to acquire AOG items from approved vendors. \nRegular attendance is essential for all positions at CommuteAir. \nOther duties as assigned.\n\nGeneral requirements & qualifications\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nMinimum 18 years of age\nHave a valid state issued driver's license.\nDemonstrate a productive and positive attitude.\nEnsure all hazardous materials are identified, handled and stored in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations.\nComplete the FedEx HazMat Transportation Training course covering the shipping of Hazardous Materials in accordance with the requirements of 49 CFR 172.704.\nOrganized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly\nAbility to read, speak, and understand the English language.\nLegally authorized to work in the USA. \n\nPhysical Requirements:\nSedentary Work:\nExerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body, sedentary work involves sitting most of the time and walking /standing occasionally with or without accommodation.\n\nVisual Acuity:\nIncludes inspection, close assembly, clerical administrative; This is a minimal standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, computer, extensive reading.\n\nEnvironmental Conditions:\nInside environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.\n\nADA Compliance:\nCommuteAir is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and a workplace that is inclusive and accessible to all individuals.
