Our purpose-built recovery solutions span cloud-native and hybrid environments, leveraging AI to enable resilience at enterprise scale.\nCommvault is looking for a self-driven individual with a solution-oriented mind set to join its legal department in UK or France as Corporate Counsel to support business growth.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nServe as “day to day” Contracts partner and liaison to the business with focus on EMEA region sales teams and the professional service teams.\nReview and negotiate software license agreements, SaaS contracts, service provider agreements, support service agreements based on Commvault’s standard templates and customer contract templates.\nReview and give counsel on data privacy, cybersecurity and sovereignty laws and other data related legislation as necessary.\nProvide training on Commvault’s standard agreements to the sales community.\nSupporting the Deal Desk -/ Bid Desk Team e.g., with tender offers and special licensing provisions.\nCollaborate with and facilitate cross team decision making among the Legal team, Finance team, Deal Desk team and other internal teams.\nSupporting the Professional Service Team with SoW and other service-related agreements.\nAssist with Corporate Governance in EMEA and APAC region.\n\nPosition Requirements:\nAt least 3 to 5 years of post-educational professional experience in a similar Contract/Legal professional role within an international commercial in-house environment.\nLegal or commercial degree as educational background.\nExcellent negotiation skills, with emphasis on software licensing and SaaS contracts.\nTeam player with good client management skills and a track record of success operating in a fast-paced environment and client facing role.\nBe comfortable to communicate on all company levels.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work remotely under limited supervision.\nPro-active communicator with problem solving mindset.\nCommvault is an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
