Reporting to the Engineering Director, this role combines deep hands-on engineering with broad architectural ownership, shaping systems that are foundational to customer trust and recovery guarantees.\nYou define and drive the long-term technical vision and cross-cutting initiatives that span multiple services and define core platform capabilities. This includes designing and evolving system abstractions, making high-impact architectural decisions that balance correctness, cost, scalability, performance, and operational simplicity, and leading the most complex and ambiguous technical initiatives from design through production rollout. You set technical direction and standards that ensure consistency across teams and systems, and you ensure those decisions are realized in high-quality production systems.\nYou remain deeply hands-on, spending significant time writing and reviewing code, solving complex technical problems, and participating in production operations.
