We are committed to sustainability practices that include recycling of cabling materials, reducing packaging waste, and implementing efficient installation methods to minimize environmental impact.\nAbout the Role:\nThe Windows System Administrator designs, installs, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks and systems and well as provides guidance and training to the desktop support staff.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPurchase, configure, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot all computers, printers and monitors\nMentor and develop desktop staff\nDevelops and/or helps maintain all IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and security.\nMonitor and test for network performance issues and troubleshoot problems when they arise.\nSecure the network by developing network access, monitoring usage, and analyzing logs.\nRemotely support regional data centers and field offices with some travel required.\nDocumenting processes both internal IT and external end user processes, lead end user requirements gathering.\nInteract with vendors and other 3rd party contractors to manage projects and secure products and services.\nResearches and recommends applications, equipment, upgrades, patches.\nUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.\nAnd other duties as assigned.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nExperience with VMWare, Cisco, Hyper-V and Palo Alto firewalls greatly preferred.\nProactive approach to dealing with customers and technical issues\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related preferred.\nMust demonstrate excellent knowledge Microsoft technologies, Azure, Windows desktop and server\noperating systems, Office 365, and GPO’s.\nExperience with ERP systems and ERP migrations.\nAbility to troubleshoot WAN, LAN, and WLAN issues, at times under pressure\nStrong analytic and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work equally well in a team environment as well as independently.\nStrong written and verbal communications skills.\nA certain degree of creativity and latitude is required\nSome project management experience desired\nPositive customer service oriented attitude\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize effectively\nAbility to take direction well and transition quickly to changing business needs\nAbility to think and act independently\nAbility to lead people and obtain results through others\nAbility for repetitive motions of wrist, hand, or fingers\nAbility to see things at close vision\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds\nThe worker is subject to inside environmental conditions.\n EEO\nThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee incumbent in this position.\nAn employee will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by any\nperson authorized to give instructions or assignments.\nA review of this position has excluded the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job\nduties.
