Your expertise will drive the creation of robust, scalable, and seamless multiplayer experiences for players around the globe.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect, implement and refine cutting-edge network code for large-scale multiplayer games inside and outside of the Unreal Engine\n\nProduce elegant, efficient, and maintainable C++ code\n\nDevelop robust solutions for player synchronization, matchmaking, and latency management.\n\nWork closely with gameplay engineers, designers, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of your network code\n\nDiagnose and resolve complex networking issues during all phases of development\n\nResearch and integrate cutting-edge technologies to future-proof network architecture\n\nMentor and collaborate with other engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence\n\nRequirements:\nMinimum 5 years of experience working as a Network Engineer in the gaming industry\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience with in the Unreal Engine\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nExcellent C++ programming skills, including proficiency in modern C++ standards (C++17 and C++20)\n\nDeep expertise in common data structures and algorithms (DSA) (e.g. Graph Algorithms)\n\nDeep understanding of Client-Server Game Architecture (e.g. Client-side prediction, Server reconciliation, Lag compensation, Entity Interpolation, etc.)\n\nShipped at least one AAA session-based multiplayer title.\n\nShipped at least one AAA persistent world multiplayer title.\n\nDeep understanding of the client-server model, the listen-server architecture, the peer-to-peer architecture, and distributed architectures in general.\n\nWhat makes you stand out\nFamiliarity with cross-platform multiplayer game development (PC/Console)\n\nExperience with Online Services (e.g. GBaaS solutions (e.g. Azure Playfab, AccelByte AGS), Custom Game Backend Integration/Development, Toxicity Management Platforms, etc.)\n\nExperience with one or more Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)\n\nStrong debugging and profiling skills for real-time multiplayer
