We believe every Texan deserves genuine satisfaction with their electricity rate choice and should enjoy the experience of choosing.\nResponsibilities\nConvert more visitors into customers, or more broadly, to take any desired action on a webpage.\nDraw on results from user research and workflow analysis to Identify where customers struggle and create satisfying and compelling user experiences.\nProactively seek to understand website users.\nCreate real user personas and audiences.\nSynthesize and communicate ideas through workflows, wireframes, interactions, and prototypes, to stakeholders in an iterative agile environment.\nDevelop high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.\nCreate multiple wireframe designs demonstrating alternative solutions.\nCreate designs that ensure the screen visually communicates the path to get users from point A to point B without friction or doubt.\nEliminate friction points along the user journey through continual A/B testing at every stage of the funnel.\nAssess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.\nContribute to the group’s shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies.\nPrioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and projects effectively.\n\nQualifications\nPortfolio of work as a UX / UI practitioner.\nBachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or 3-5 years equivalent professional experience. Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design.\nStrong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.\nExperience in a highly Agile/scrum environment.\nHighly proficient with visual design software such as Adobe Photoshop.\nProficient with wireframing and prototyping and adept at wielding the industry’s most widely used tools-such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc-to bring your designs to life.\nExperience with tools to support data collection, such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, and UserTesting.\nStrong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with various forms of insight tools and analysis: surveys, social/listening posts, customer panels, focus groups, ethnographic research, text and voice analytics, jobs to be done, etc.\nExperience leading UX/UI projects from start to finish.\nSkills\nDesign thinking\nPrototyping & testing\nWireframing & UI design\nDeveloper Handoff\n\nWhat This Role Offers You\nThe opportunity to join a High-Growth, Entrepreneurial Company.
