You'll play a key role in ensuring our systems are secure, reliable and fit for purpose, enabling colleagues to deliver safe and effective support to children, young people, families and carers.\nWorking closely with the Network & Field Operations Manager and the wider IT team, you'll support the day-to-day running of our IT services, helping colleagues resolve technical issues, maintain equipment and get the most from their technology. This is a varied role that combines technical expertise with excellent customer service and will involve regular travel to services across the UK.\nYou will be supporting services across our North Region.\n\nWhat you'll be doing\nProviding 1st and 2nd line IT support both remotely and on-site.\nInstalling and maintaining PCs, laptops, tablets, printers and networking equipment.\nSupporting Microsoft 365, Windows devices, cloud-based systems and Wi-Fi connectivity.\nTroubleshooting technical issues and carrying out routine maintenance and upgrades.\nSupporting new site setups and IT projects.\nMaintaining accurate records and ensuring systems remain secure and compliant.\nWorking closely with colleagues, providing clear guidance and support in a non-technical and approachable way.\nWhat we're looking for\nExperience in an IT Support or Field Service role.\nStrong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and basic networking.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage a varied workload.\nA strong commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and professional conduct.\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.\nWhy Compass Community?\nCompass Community exists to create a future of strength and opportunity for every child.
