The Cashier should be comfortable approaching guests to offer services and sell products. In addition, the Cashier must be willing to help fellow co-workers complete tasks.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nHandles credit card transactions using the Point of Sales system.\nResponds to guest’s needs and requests, effectively using suggestive and upselling techniques, and maintains service areas.\nCompletes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction.\nUnderstands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing.\nResponds to guest needs and requests.\nEmploys good safety and sanitation practices.\nFollows cash handling and tip reporting guidelines.\nResponsible for maintaining the stand sheet with inventory responsibilities.\nAdheres to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook.\nThoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities.\nCommunicates guest issues to management.\nFollows responsible alcohol service policies.\nPractices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.\nStand for long periods of time (up to 6 hours) and be able to actively engage physically with guests.\nMust be able to reach with hands and arms for one-third to two-thirds or more of the designated shift.\nAbility to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.\nReact with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.\nDemonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.\nLift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nThe ideal candidate will have a desire to gain experience and work in the foodservice or hospitality industry. Previous cash handling experience is preferred. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience.
