This event-based, part-time leadership role will be responsible for directing and supervising food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nTrains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.\nAdvises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.\nUses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.\nOperates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.\nStores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.\nFollows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.\nOperates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.\nHelps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMinimum (3) years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service environment.\nMinimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience.\nValid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.\nExcellent customer service, organization, and time management.\nAbility to speak, read, and write in English.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nAbility to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques.\nKnowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.\nApply to Levy today!\nLevy is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
