In this position, you’ll oversee non-profit volunteers, ensure proper training, and maintain a safe and efficient environment, all while delivering an exceptional guest experience.Anticipated start date in October.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage operations of multiple concession stands, ensuring smooth service and a positive guest experience during UW-Madison sporting events. \nAssist team members and volunteers, responding to questions, addressing needs, and providing guidance throughout the event. \nUnderstand menu offerings, presentation, and pricing to ensure accurate service and product quality. \nMaintain inventory control and ensure the proper handling of products and equipment. \nStock and prepare concession stands before the event, ensuring everything is in place and ready for service. \nClean and close down stands after the event, ensuring everything is in order for the next event. \nComplete event paperwork at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure proper records. \nUphold cash handling policies and follow food safety/sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment. \nEnforce responsible alcohol service to ensure compliance with regulations. \nPerform additional duties as required to support event operations.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a food service or similar role. \nWillingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol ServSafe Certification & Food Handler's ServSafe (if not already certified). \nMust be 21+ years of age for alcohol handling responsibilities. \nAbility to stand and walk for long hours during events. \nAbility to lift 25-45 lbs when necessary for setup and inventory management. \nMust be available to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center Arena. \nApply to Levy today!\nLevy is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
