The supervisor initially meets the staff at the beginning of a shift and checks them in for the event. In addition, the Supervisor will go over event details with the directors. The supervisor should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict fllowing of food and safety guidelines are required. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMeets with the directors before the event to go over details\nEnsure all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.\nKnowledgeable on all menu offerings.\nEstablishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques. \nThoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.\nCreate, modify and close sales checks in point of sale.\nAdheres to location appearance guidelines. \nAssists in ordering and keeping inventory of products. \nMaintains product cost and labor cost according to budget.\nSupervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.\nMaintains consistent, efficient service during peak hours.\nFollows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.\nFollows responsible alcohol service policies. \nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nEssential Job Duties:\nStand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.\nAbility to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.\nReact with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. \nDemonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day. \nLift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. \nMove from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.\nApply to Levy today!\nLevy is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
