This position leads stewarding team members, ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, supports culinary and banquet operations, and maintains adequate supplies of clean service ware for all events.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupervise, train, coach, and develop stewarding team members.\nAssign daily work responsibilities and monitor productivity throughout each shift.\nEnsure adequate staffing levels to support multiple events and kitchen operations.\nConduct pre-shift meetings and communicate operational priorities.\nOversee all dishwashing operations, ensuring timely cleaning and sanitizing of china, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, cooking equipment and banquet equipment \nMaintains product cost and labor cost according to budget.\nSupervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.\nMaintains consistent, efficient service during peak hours.\nFollows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nMinimum 2-3 years of stewarding or kitchen sanitation experience.\nMinimum 1 year of supervisory experience in hospitality, hotels, convention centers, casinos, stadiums, arenas, or high-volume food service.\nKnowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment.\nKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.\nAbility to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.\nApply to Levy today!\nLevy is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
